Our 7 Step System To Pain Relief

  1. Visualization

Each person is evaluated for subtle changes in posture and movement which may indicate a current or potential problem in the future.
  2. Instrumentation

Uneven distributions of heat are detected along the spine indicating areas of inflammation. This is similar to an ankle sprain where the ankle swells and is hot to the touch. Locating similar areas of inflammation in the spine is important to proper diagnosis and treatment.
  3. Static & Motion Palpation

Each area of the spine and/or extremities are evaluated for static joint movement, tight muscles, tenderness and swelling. Motion palpation will assess the joints while they are in motion. The spine allows us to bend and twist in our different directions, however it may become restricted and limit our movements or flexibility. This evaluation enables the practitioner to locate restricted areas and check for functionality of the spine.
  4. X-Ray Analysis

X-ray films are taken to evaluate the spine and/or extremities for arthritis, disc disease, misalignment and many other pathologies. Films are taken in a weight bearing position (while the patient is standing) to analyze the alignment of the joints.
  5. Soft Tissue Techniques

Graston & Active Release Technique (ART) are used to break up scar tissue and promote healing of tissues in the proper direction. To prevent the build up of scar tissue in the future, stretching exercises will be performed. Muscular imbalances and weakness in the body are corrected through individualized exercises.
  6. Acupuncture

Acupuncture stimulates blood flow to specific areas of the body to reduce pain and enhance healing.
  7. Clinical Nutrition & Chinese Herbs

Acupuncture may be combined with nutrition and Chinese herbal medicine to speed up the healing process. Replace with “A unique combination of pharmaceutical grade supplements and customized Chinese herbal medicine will be used to further aid the healing process.”
