Whiplash and Neck Pain

This occurs when your head is "whipped" forward and backwards. This is usually the result of a car accident or serious injury.

Symptoms may include: headaches, visual disturbances, neck pain or stiffness/spasm, restriction of movement, shoulder, lower back or arm pain. Many times only some of the symptoms are felt immediately and after a few days to a week the symptoms get gradually worse. This is due to the build up of inflammation as a result from the injured tissue. This is the reason why it is important to immediately get a check up to see if there are any soft tissue or joint injuries following the accident. Even if it only caused $1000 dollars of damage to your car. If it is enough force to bend steel, break fiberglass and plastic, what do you think it will do to the soft muscles, joints and nerves of your body?

Even if the exam is all negative, I would still like to know that everything is okay after I was in an accident. If there are injuries, we will create a customized treatment plan to get you back to where you were before the accident.
